Part-Time Dispatcher

August 3, 2015

Seeking to fill one part-time Dispatch position reporting to the Police Chief and the Fire Chief.  This is 

Duties:  Dispatching and clerical work in monitoring the communications area in the Police and Fire 

Departments.  Responding quickly to emergency 911 and other telephone calls, radio 

communications, computer entry and ability to mullti-task. Excellent verbal communication skills, 

computer skills and ability to be trained in Emergency Management Systems.  

Minimum Entrance Requirements:  Requires medical examination, including hearing test.  Must 

have high school degree or equivalency and two years of work experience.  Hours will vary; applicant 

must be available for night and weekend hours.
